1. Chineke nēguzo Onwe-ya nime nzukọ Chineke; N'etiti chi nile ka Ọ nēkpe ikpe.

2. Rùe ole mb͕e ka unu gēkpe ikpe ajọ omume? Rù kwa ole mb͕e ka unu gāhu ndi nēmebi iwu iru-ọma?

3. Kpenu onye nēnweghi ike na nwa-nb͕ei ikpe ziri ezi: Guanu onye ewedara n'ala na onye nọ na nkpà n'onye ezi omume.

4. Menu ka onye nēnweghi ike na ob͕eye b͕apu: Naputanu ha n'aka ndi nēmebi iwu.

5. Ha amaghi, ha aghọtaghi kwa; N'ọchichiri ka ha nējeghari: Ewezugawo ntọ-ala nile nke uwa n'ọnọdu-ha.

6. Mu onwem siri, Chi ka unu bu, Ọ bu kwa umu nke Onye kachasi ihe nile elu ka unu bu.

7. Otú ọ di, dika madu ka unu gānwu, Ọ bu kwa dika otù nime ndi-isi ka unu gādà.

8. Bilie, Chineke, kpe uwa ikpe: N'ihi na Gi onwe-gi gēketa ihe, bú mba nile.
