1. Kumongameli; ngethi, Ungonakalisi. EkaDavide. Eliligugu: ekumbalekeni kwakhe uSawule emqolombeni. Ndibabale, Thixo, ndibabale; Ngokuba uzimela ngawe umphefumlo wam; Ndizimela esithunzini samaphiko akho, Kude kudlule inkxwaleko.

2. Ndinqula uThixo Osenyangweni, UThixo ondifezelayo.

3. Uya kuthuma esemazulwini andisindise, Emngcikiva nje ondizondayo; (Phakamisani.) UThixo uya kuthuma inceba yakhe nenyaniso yakhe.

4. Umphefumlo wam uphakathi kweengonyama; Ndiya kulala phantsi nabafutha umlilo, Oonyana babantu abamazinyo aziintshuntshe neentolo, Ulwimi lwabo lulikrele elibukhali.

5. Ziphakamisele ngaphezu kwamazulu, Thixo, Lube phezu kwehlabathi lonke uzuko lwakho.

6. Isibatha basilungisele iinyawo zam; Bawugobile umphefumlo wam; Bandimbela isihogo, Beyela kuso ngokwabo. (Phakamisani.)

7. Izimasekile intliziyo yam, Thixo, izimasekile intliziyo yam; Ndiya kuvuma, ndiya kubetha uhadi.

8. Vuka, luzuko lwam! Vukani, mrhubhe nohadi! Ndiya kusiphangela isifingo.

9. Ndiya kubulela kuwe phakathi kwezizwe, Nkosi yam; Ndiya kukubethela uhadi phakathi kwezizwe.

10. Ngokuba inkulu, yada yaya ezulwini, inceba yakho; Yada yesa esibhakabhakeni inyaniso yakho.

11. Ziphakamisele ngaphezu kwezulu, Thixo, Lube phezu kwehlabathi lonke uzuko lwakho.
