Isahluko 81

1. Kumongameli; ngolwaseGati. Ka-Asafu. Memelelani kuThixo, igwiba lethu, Dumani kuThixo kaYakobi.

2. Hlabani ingoma, nibethe ingqongqo, Uhadi olumnandi, kunye nomrhubhe.

3. Vuthelani isigodlo ukuthwasa kwenyanga, Nokuhlangana kwenyanga, ngemini yomthendeleko wethu.

4. Ngokuba ngummiselo lowo kuSirayeli, Lisiko likaThixo kaYakobi.

5. Sisingqiniso awasimisayo kwaYosefu, Ekucandeni kwakhe ezweni laseYiputa; Ndeva intetho endingayaziyo.

6. Ndawususa umthwalo egxalabeni lakhe; Izandla zakhe zasuka ezingobozini zokuthwala.

7. Embandezelweni wadanduluka wena, ndakuhlangula; Ndakuphendula esitheni leendudumo, Ndakuvavanya emanzini aseMeribha. (Phakamisani.)

8. Ndathi, Yivani, bantu bam, ndiqononondise kuni; Sirayeli, ukuba unokuphulaphula kum!

9. Makungabikho thixo wasemzini kuwe; Unganquli thixo wolunye uhlanga.

10. Ndim uYehova uThixo wakho, Okunyusileyo elizweni laseYiputa. Yakhamisa, ndiwuzalise umlomo wakho.

11. Ke abantu bam abaliva izwi lam, USirayeli akandivumanga.

12. Ndabanikela ebungqoleni beentliziyo zabo; Bahamba ngawabo amaqhinga.

13. Akwaba abantu bam bebendiva, Akwaba uSirayeli ubehamba ngendlela yam!

14. Bendiya kuzithoba kamsinya iintshaba zabo, Ndisibuyisele phezu kwababandezeli babo isandla sam.

15. Abamthiyayo uYehova bebeya kuhanahanisa kuye, Libe ngunaphakade ixesha labo.

16. Bendiya kubadlisa ingqolowa etyebileyo, Ndibahluthise ngobusi etsilini.
