Isahluko 143

1. Umhobe kaDavide. Yehova, yiva umthandazo wam, kubekele indlebe ukutarhuzisa kwam; Ndiphendule ngokunyaniseka kwakho, ngobulungisa bakho.

2. Musa ukumsa ematyaleni umkhonzi wakho: Ngokuba phambi kwakho akukho namnye uhleliyo olilungisa.

3. Ngokuba utshaba luwusukele umphefumlo wam, Lubutyumzele emhlabeni ubomi bam; Lundihlalise ezindaweni ezimnyama, njengabafe ngonaphakade.

4. Utyhafile phakathi kwam umoya wam; Imangalisiwe phakathi kwam intliziyo yam.

5. Ndikhumbula imihla yamandulo; Ndicamngca ngemisebenzi yakho yonke, Ndicamngca ngesenzo sezandla zakho.

6. Ndizolulela kuwe izandla zam, Umphefumlo wam ukungxamele njengelizwe elibharhileyo. (Phakamisani.)

7. Khawuleza undiphendule, Yehova; uyaphela umoya wam. Musa ukubusithelisa kum ubuso bakho, Ndifane nabahla baye emhadini.

8. Ndivise kwakusasa inceba yakho, Ngokuba ndikholose ngawe. Ndazise indlela endiya kuhamba ngayo: Ngokuba ndiwuphakamisela kuwe umphefumlo wam.

9. Ndihlangule ezintshabeni zam, Yehova. Ndizimela ngawe.

10. Ndifundise ukwenza ikholo lakho, ngokuba unguThixo wam. UMoya wakho olungileyo makandikhaphele ezweni elisithabazi.

11. Ngenxa yegama lakho, Yehova, ndiphilise; Wukhuphe embandezelweni umphefumlo wam ngobulungisa bakho.

12. Ngenceba yakho zibhangise iintshaba zam, Ubatshabalalise bonke abawubandezelayo umphefumlo wam, Ngokuba ndingumkhonzi wakho.
