1. Umhobe kaDavide. Yehova, ndiyakunqula, khawuleza uze kum; Libekele indlebe izwi lam ekudandulukeni kwam kuwe.

2. Umthandazo wam mawuhlale uhleli phambi kwakho usisiqhumiso, Nokuphakamisa kwam izandla kube ngumnikelo wangokuhlwa.

3. Umlomo wam wumisele umlindi, Yehova; Misa umgcini emnyango womlomo wam.

4. Intliziyo yam musa ukuyithobela entweni embi, Ukuba isebenze intlondi yokungendawo Namadoda asebenza ubutshinga; Mandingazidli izimnandi zawo.

5. Malindibethe ilungisa linenceba, lindohlwaye; Ioli enjalo yentloko ayingeyali intloko yam: Ngokuba usekho nomthandazo wam ebubini bawo.

6. Bakhahlelwa emacaleni engxondorha abagwebi bawo, Beve amazwi am ukuba amnandi.

7. Njengolimayo enqika umhlaba, Anjalo ukuthi saa amathambo ethu emlonyeni wengcwaba.

8. Ngokuba akuwe, Yehova, Nkosi yam, amehlo am; Ndizimela ngawe; musa ukuwuphalaza umphefumlo wam.

9. Ndigcine esangweni lomgibe wabandithiyelayo, Nasezirhintyelweni zabasebenza ubutshinga.

10. Mabeyele ezintanjeni zabo abangendawo, Ndide ndidlule mna okukanye.
