1. Wandibonisa uYoshuwa umbingeleli omkhulu, emi phambi kwesithunywa sikaYehova, uSathana emi ngasekunene kwakhe, ukuze amchase.

2. Wathi uYehova kuSathana, UYehova makakukhalimele, Sathana; akukhalimele uYehova oyinyulileyo iYerusalem; lo akasikhuni esirholwe emlilweni na?

3. UYoshuwa ke ebambethe iingubo ezingcolileyo; wema ke phambi kwesithunywa.

4. Saphendula sathetha nabemiyo phambi kwaso, sathi, Zisuseni iingubo ezingcolileyo kuye. Sathi ke kuye, Yabona, ndibususile ubugwenxa bakho kuwe, ndikwambese ngezinqabileyo.

5. Ndathi ke, Mabambeke unkontsho oluhlambulukileyo entloko. Bambeka ke unkontsho oluhlambulukileyo entlokweni yakhe, bamambesa ngeengubo; saye isithunywa sikaYehova simi.

6. Isithunywa sikaYehova saqononondisa kuYoshuwa, sathi,

7. Utsho uYehova wemikhosi ukuthi, Ukuba uthe wahamba ngeendlela zam, ukuba uthe wasigcina isigxina sam, woyilawula wena indlu yam, wozigcina neentendelezo zam, ndikunike ukuhamba phakathi kwaba bemiyo apha.

8. Khawuphulaphule ke Yoshuwa, mbingeleli mkhulu, wena nabalingane bakho abahlala phambi kwakho; ngokuba ngamadoda asisimanga. Ngokuba, uyabona, ndiya kuzisa umkhonzi wam onguHlumelo.

9. Ngokuba nalo ilitye endalibeka phambi koYoshuwa; lityeni linye kobakho amehlo asixhenxe; yabona, ndikrola ukrolo lwalo, utsho uYehova wemikhosi, ndisuse ubugwenxa beli lizwe ngamini-nye.

10. Ngaloo mini, utsho uYehova wemikhosi, niya kubizelana phantsi komdiliya naphantsi komkhiwane.
