1. Kumholi wokuhlabelela. Indlela: Ungachithi. ElikaDavide. IMiktamu, mhla ebalekela uSawule emphandwini. Yiba nomusa kimi, Nkulunkulu; yiba nomusa kimi. Ngokuba umphefumulo wami uphephela kuwe; ngifuna ukukhosela ethunzini lamaphiko akho, zize zidlule izinhlupheko. 57:1 AmaH. 17:8; 36:7; 91:4.

2. Ngizakukhala kuNkulunkulu oPhezukonke, kuNkulunkulu ongifezelayo.

3. Uyakuthumela esezulwini, angisindise mhla ofuna ukungigwinya ekloloda. Sela UNkulunkulu uyakuthuma umusa wakhe neqiniso lakhe.

4. Umphefumulo wami uphakathi kwezingonyama; ngilala kwabavutha umlilo, abantwana babantu abamazinyo abo ayimikhonto nemicibisholo, abalulimi lwabo luyinkemba ebukhali. 57:4 AmaH. 55:21; 59:7.

5. Phakama, Nkulunkulu, phezu kwezulu, inkazimulo ibe phezu komhlaba wonke.

6. Izinyathelo zami bazibekele ugibe; umphefumulo wami ugobile; bembile igebe phambi kwami, kwakhalakathela bona kulo. Sela 57:6 AmaH. 7:15; 9:15.

7. Inhliziyo yami iduduzekile, Nkulunkulu; inhliziyo yami iduduzekile; ngizakuhlabelela, ngihube. 57:7 AmaH. 108:1.

8. Vuka, mphefumulo wami; vukani, lugubhu nehabhu! Ngizakuvusa ukusa. 57:8 AmaH. 30:12.

9. Ngizakukubonga, Nkosi, phakathi kwabantu, ngikudumise phakathi kwezizwe.

10. Ngokuba umusa wakho mkhulu kuze kube sezulwini, nokuthembeka kwakho kuze kube semafwini. 57:10 AmaH. 36:5.

11. Phakama, Nkulunkulu, phezu kwezulu, inkazimulo yakho ibe phezu komhlaba wonke.
