1. Igama. Ihubo likaDavide. Inhliziyo yami iduduzekile, Nkulunkulu; ngizakuhlabelela, ngihube, ngisho nomphefumulo wami.
2. Vukani, lugubhu nehabhu! Ngizakuvusa ukusa.
3. Ngizakukubonga phakathi kwabantu, Jehova, ngikudumise phakathi kwezizwe.
4. Ngokuba umusa wakho mkhulu phezu kwezulu, nokuthembeka kwakho kuze kube semafwini.
5. Phakama, Nkulunkulu, phezu kwezulu, inkazimulo yakho ibe phezu komhlaba wonke.
6. Ukuze abathandekayo bakho bakhululwe, sindisa ngesandla sakho sokunene, ungizwele.
7. UNkulunkulu ukhulumile ebungcweleni bakhe, wathi: “Ngiyakwethaba; ngiyakulidabula iShekemi, ngisilinganise isiGodi saseSukoti.
8. Ngowami uGileyadi, ngowami uManase; u-Efrayimi uyisivikelo sekhanda lami, uJuda uyintonga yami yokubusa.
9. UMowabi uyisitsha sami sokuhlambela; phezu kuka-Edomi ngiphonsa isicathulo sami; phezu kweFilistiya ngiyethaba.”
10. Ngubani oyakungiyisa emzini oyinqaba na? Ngubani oyakungiholela kwa-Edomi na?
11. Akusiwena Nkulunkulu osilahlileyo na? Nkulunkulu, awusaphumi nezimpi zethu.
12. Siphe ukuba sisizakale ekuhluphekeni, ngokuba ukusiza komuntu kuyize.
13. NgoNkulunkulu siyakwenza izenzo zamandla; yena uyakunyathela phansi izitha zethu.
