1. Mu biro ebyo Merodakubaladani mutabani wa Baladani, kabaka w'e Babulooni, n'aweereza Keezeekiya ebbaluwa n'ekirabo: kubanga yawulira nga yali alwadde era ng'awonye.

2. Keezeekiya n'abasanyukira, n'abalaga ennyumba ey'ebintu bye eby'omuwendo omungi, effeeza ne zaabu n'eby'akaloosa n'amafuta ag'omuwendo omungi, n'ennyumba yonna ey'eby'okulwanyisa bye, ne byonna ebyalabika mu bugagga bwe: tewaali kintu mu nnyumba ye newakubadde mu matwale ge gonna Keezeekiya ky'ataabalaga.

3. Awo Isaaya nabbi n'ajja eri kabaka Keezeekiya n'amugamba nti Abasajja bano boogedde ki? era baava wa okujja gy'oli? Keezeekiya n'ayogera nti Bava mu nsi ya wala okujja gye ndi, baava e Babulooni.

4. Awo n'ayogera nti Balabye ki mu nnyumba yo? Keezeekiya n'addamu nti Byonna ebiri mu nnyumba yange babirabye: tewali kintu mu bugagga bwange kye ssibalaze.

5. Awo Isaaya n'agamba Keezeekiya nti Wulira ekigambo kya Mukama ow'eggye,

6. Laba, ennaku zijja byonna ebiri mu nnyumba yo n'ebyo bakitaawo bye baaterekanga okutuusa leero lwe biritwalibwa e Babulooni: tewaliba kintu ekirisigalawo, bw'ayogera Mukama.

7. Ne ku batabani bo abaliva mu ggwe b'olizaala balibatwalako; era baliba balaawe mu lubiri lwa kabaka w’e Babulooni.

8. Awo Keezeekiya n'agamba Isaaya nti Ekigambo kya Mukama ky'oyogedde kirungi. Era n'ayogera nti Kavuna wanaabanga emirembe n'amazima mu mirembe gyange.
