1. Wasusela uElihu, wathi,

2. Uba oku kusesikweni na, Ukuthi, ubulungisa bakho bungaphezu kobukaThixo;

3. Ukuba uthi nje, Bundinceda ntoni na, Bundinyusa ngantoni na phezu kokundinyusa kwesono sam?

4. Ndiya kukuphendula mna ngokuthetha, Nabahlobo bakho abanawe.

5. Bheka ezulwini ubone; Ukhangele isibhakabhaka, siphezulu kuwe.

6. Ukuba uthi wone, usebenza ntoni na ngakuye? Khona zakuba zininzi izikreqo zakho, umenze ntoni na?

7. Ukuba uthe walungisa wena, umpha ntoni na ngaloo nto? Wamkela ntoni na yena esandleni sakho?

8. Kuyinto kwindoda enjengawe ukungabi ndawo kwakho; Buyinto kuwe, nyana womntu, ubulungisa bakho.

9. Ngenxa yobuninzi bokucudisa, bayakhala abantu; Bayazibika ngenxa yengalo yabakhulu.

10. Ke abatsho ukuthi, Uphi na uThixo uMenzi wam, Osinika ingoma ebusuku,

11. Osifundisa ngaphezu kweenkomo zehlabathi, Asiphe ubulumko ngaphezu kweentaka zezulu?

12. Bandula bakhale, angaphenduli, Ngenxa yekratshi labanobubi.

13. Hayi, yona into ekhohlakeleyo akayiva uThixo, USomandla akayikhathalele.

14. Noko utshoyo ukuthi akumkhathalele, Ityala liphambi kwakhe, lindela kuye ke!

15. Ke ngoko xa ungekaveleli umsindo wakhe, Akazani na kunene nesikhukhumali?

16. Ke uYobhi ufumana awuvule umlomo wakhe, Akwandise ukuthetha engenakwazi.
