Isahluko 28

1. Kuba kukho apho iphuma khona isilivere, Nendawo yegolide abayihluzayo.

2. Isinyithi sithatyathwa eluthulini, Banyibilikisa amatye abe lubhedu.

3. Baphelisa ubumnyama, Bebhekisa eziphelweni zonke, Begocagocela amatye asesithokothokweni nawasebumnyameni obuthe shinyi.

4. Bemba umngxuma kude kwabemiyo, Belityelwe lunyawo lwabahambi; Baxhomekile bekude nabantu, bayajinga.

5. Umhlaba-kuphuma ukutya kuwo; Umzantsi wawo ubhukuqwa ngathi ngumlilo.

6. Indawo yesafire ngamatye awo, Amagada egolide akuyo;

7. Yingqushu engaziwa xhalanga, Engathiwanga nzo liso lantloyiya,

8. Enganyathelwanga thole lanyamakazi inyalasayo, Engahanjwanga nayingonyama.

9. Usa isandla sakhe nakwiqhwitha, Uzibhukuqa ezingcanjini iintaba.

10. Ugqobhoza imijelo emaweni; Libona zonke izinto ezinqabileyo iliso lakhe.

11. Uvingca imilambo ingavuzi, Okufihlakeleyo akukhuphele emhlotsheni.

12. Ke bona ubulumko bufunyanwa phi na? Iphi na indawo yengqondo?

13. Akalazi umntu ixabiso labo; Abufunyanwa ezweni labahleliyo.

14. Amanzi enzonzobila athi, Abukum; Ulwandle luthi, Abunam.

15. Akurholwa golide ithe shinyi esikhundleni sabo; Akulinganiswa silivere ibe yintengo yabo.

16. Abumelwa yigolide ecikizekileyo yakwaOfire, Nesardonisi enqabileyo, nesafire.

17. Azinakulingana nabo igolide negilas; Abunakwananana neempahla zegolide engcwengiweyo.

18. Zingasakhunjulwa iikorale neekristale, Ukuzuzwa kobulumko kuphezu kweeperile.

19. Ayinakulingana nabo itopazi yakwaKushi; Abumelwa yigolide ecikizekileyo, ecocekileyo.

20. Ubulumko buvela phi na ke, Yiyiphi na indawo yengqondo?

21. Bufihlakele emehlweni eento zonke eziphilileyo; Busithakele nasezintakeni zasezulwini.

22. Inzonzobila nokufa kuthi, Sibuvile ukubuva ngendlebe.

23. NguThixo oyiqondayo indlela yabo, Nguye oyaziyo indawo yabo.

24. Kuba yena ubheka eziphelweni zehlabathi, Ubona phantsi kwamazulu onke;

25. Ngokuwenzela umoya ubunzima bawo, Namanzi awalinganise ngomlinganiso;

26. Ekuyenzeleni kwakhe imvula ummiselo, Nombane wendudumo indlela:

27. Waza wabubona, wabubala; Wabumisa, wabugocagoca nokubugocagoca;

28. Wathi emntwini: Yabona, ukoyika iNkosi, bubulumko obo, Nokutyeka ebubini kuyingqondo.
