Sura 63

1. Ee MUNGU, Mungu wangu, nitakutafuta mapema, Nafsi yangu inakuonea kiu, Mwili wangu wakuonea shauku, Katika nchi kame na uchovu, isiyo na maji.

2. Ndivyo nilivyokutazama katika patakatifu, Nizione nguvu zako na utukufu wako.

3. Maana fadhili zako ni njema kuliko uhai; Midomo yangu itakusifu.

4. Ndivyo nitakavyokubariki maadamu ni hai; Kwa jina lako nitaiinua mikono yangu.

5. Nafsi yangu itakinai kama kushiba mafuta na vinono; Kinywa changu kitakusifu kwa midomo ya furaha.

6. Ninapokukumbuka kitandani mwangu, Nakutafakari Wewe makesha yote ya usiku.

7. Maana Wewe umekuwa msaada wangu, Na uvulini mwa mbawa zako nitashangilia.

8. Nafsi yangu inakuandama sana; Mkono wako wa kuume unanitegemeza.

9. Bali waitafutao nafsi yangu, ili kuiharibu, Wataingia pande za nchi zilizo chini.

10. Watatolewa wafe kwa nguvu za upanga, Watakuwa riziki za mbwa-mwitu.

11. Bali mfalme atamfurahia Mungu, Kila aapaye kwa Yeye atashangilia, Kwa maana vinywa vya waongo vitafumbwa.
