1. Ee Bwana, uniokoe na mtu mbaya, Unihifadhi na mtu wa jeuri.

2. Waliowaza mabaya mioyoni mwao, Kila siku huondokesha vita.

3. Wamenoa ndimi zao kama nyoka, Sumu ya fira i chini ya midomo yao.

4. Ee Bwana, unilinde na mikono ya mtu asiye haki; Unihifadhi na mtu wa jeuri; Waliowaza kuzipotosha hatua zangu.

5. Wenye kiburi wamenifichia mtego na kamba; Wametandika wavu kando ya njia; Wameniwekea matanzi.

6. Nimemwambia Bwana, Ndiwe Mungu wangu; Ee Bwana, uisikie sauti ya dua zangu.

7. Ee MUNGU Bwana, nguvu za wokovu wangu, Umenifunika kichwa changu siku ya vita.

8. Ee Bwana, usimpe asiye haki tamaa zake, Usiifanikishe hila yake, wasije wakajiinua.

9. Nao wainuapo vichwa watu wanaonizunguka, Madhara ya midomo yao yawafunike.

10. Makaa ya moto yawaangukie, watupwe motoni, Na katika mashimo, wasipate kusimama tena.

11. Msingiziaji hatawekwa imara katika nchi, Mtu wa jeuri, uovu humwinda kumwangamiza.

12. Najua ya kuwa Bwana atamfanyia mnyonge hukumu, Na wahitaji haki yao.

13. Hakika wenye haki watalishukuru jina lako, Wenye adili watakaa mahali ulipo Wewe.
