ምዕራፍ 85

1. አቤቱ፥ ለምድርህ ሞገስን አደረግህ፥ የያዕቆብንም ምርኮ መለስህ።

2. የሕዝብህን ኃጢአት አስቀረህ፥ አበሳቸውንም ሁሉ ከደንህ።

3. መዓትህንም ሁሉ አስወገድህ፤ ከቍጣህ መቅሠፍት ተመለስህ።

4. የመድኃኒታችን አምላክ ሆይ፥ መልሰን፥ ቍጣህንም ከእኛ መልስ።

5. በውኑ ለዘላለም ትቈጣናለህን? ቍጣህንስ ለልጅ ልጅ ታስረዝማለህን?

6. አቤቱ፥ ትመለሳለህ ታድነንማለህ፤ ሕዝቡም በአንተ ደስ ይላቸዋል።

7. አቤቱ፥ ምሕረትህን አሳየን፥ አቤቱ፥ መድኃኒትህንም ስጠን።

8. እግዚአብሔር አምላክ የሚናገረውን እሰማለሁ፤ ሰላምን ለሕዝቡና ለቅዱሳኑ ልባቸውንም ወደ እርሱ ለሚመልሱ ይናገራልና።

9. ነገር ግን ክብር በምድራችን ያድር ዘንድ ማዳኑ ለሚፈሩት ቅርብ ነው፤

10. ምሕረትና እውነት ተገናኙ፤ ጽድቅና ሰላም ተስማሙ።

11. እውነት ከምድር በቀለች፥ ጽድቅም ከሰማይ ተመለከተች።

12. እግዚአብሔርም በጎ ነገርን ይሰጣል፥ ምድራችንም ፍሬዋን ትሰጣለች።

13. ጽድቅ በፊቱ ይሄዳል፥ ፍለጋውንም በመንገድ ውስጥ ያኖራል።
