ምዕራፍ 141

1. አቤቱ፥ ወደ አንተ ጮኽሁ፤ ስማኝ፤ ወደ አንተ ስጮኽም የልመናዬን ቃል አድምጥ።

2. ጸሎቴን በፊትህ እንደ ዕጣን ተቀበልልኝ፥ እጅ መንሣቴም እንደ ሠርክ መሥዋዕት ትሁን።

3. አቤቱ፥ ለአፌ ጠባቂ አኑር፥ የከንፈሮቼንም መዝጊያ ጠብቅ።

4. ልቤን ወደ ክፉ ነገር አትመልሰው፥ ዓመፃን ከሚያደርጉ ሰዎች ጋር ለኃጢአት ምክንያት እንዳልሰጥ፤ ከምርጦቻቸውም ጋር አልተባበር።

5. ጻድቅ በምሕረት ይገሥጸኝ፥ ይዝለፈኝም፥ የኃጢአተኛ ዘይት ግን ራሴን አይቅባ፤ ጸሎቴ ገና በክፋታቸው ላይ ነውና።

6. ኃያላኖቻቸው በዓለት አጠገብ ተጣሉ፤ ጣፋጭ ናትና ቃሌን ይሰማሉ።

7. በምድር ላይ እንደ ተሰነጠቀ እንደ መሬት ጓል፥ እንዲሁ አጥንቶቻችን በሲኦል ተበተኑ።

8. አቤቱ ጌታ፥ ዓይኖቼ ወደ አንተ ናቸውና፤ በአንተ ታመንሁ፥ ነፍሴን አታውጣት።

9. ከሰወሩብኝ ወጥመድ፥ ዓመፅንም ከሚያደርጉ ሰዎች ዕንቅፋት ጠብቀኝ።

10. እኔ ብቻዬን እስካልፍ ድረስ ኃጢአተኞች በወጥመዳቸው ይውደቁ።
