ምዕራፍ 58

1. በእውነት ጽድቅን ብትናገሩስ፥ የሰው ልጆች ሆይ፥ በቅን ትፈርዳላችሁ፤

2. በልባችሁ በምድር ላይ ኃጢአትን ትሠራላችሁና፥ እጆቻችሁም ግፍን ይታታሉና።

3. ኅጥኣን ከማኅፀን ጀምረው ተለዩ፤ ከሆድም ጀምረው ሳቱ፥ ሐሰትንም ተናገሩ።

4. ቍጣቸው እንደ እባብ መርዝ ነው፥ እንደ ምድር አውሬም ጆሮዋ የተደፈነ ነው፥

5. አዋቂ ሲደግምባት የአስማተኛውን ቃል እንደማትሰማ።

6. እግዚአብሔር ጥርሳቸውን በአፋቸው ውስጥ ይሰብራል፤ እግዚአብሔር የአንበሶቹን መንጋጋቸውን ያደቅቃል።

7. እንደሚፈስስ ውኃ ይቀልጣሉ፤ እስኪያደክማቸው ድረስ ፍላጾቹን ይገትራል።

8. እንደሚቀልጥ ሰም ያልቃሉ፤ እሳት ወደቀች፥ ፀሐይንም አላዩአትም።

9. እሾኻችሁ ሳይታወቅ በትር ሆነ፤ ሕያዋን ሳላችሁ በመዓቱ ይነጥቃችኋል።

10. ጻድቅ በቀልን ባየ ጊዜ ደስ ይለዋል፤ በኃጢአተኛው ደምም እጁን ይታጠባል።

11. ሰውም። በእውነት ለጻድቅ ፍሬ አለው፤ በእውነት በምድር ላይ የሚፈርድ አምላክ አለ ይላል።
