1. Yosamu yali yaakamaze emyaka amakumi abiri mu etaano bwe yatanula okufuga; n'afugira emyaka kkumi na mukaaga mu Yerusaalemi: ne nnyina erinnya lye yali Yerusa muwala wa Zadoki.

2. N'akolanga ebyo ebyali mu maaso ga Mukama ebirungi nga byonna bwe byali kitaawe Uzziya bye yakolanga: era naye teyayingiranga mu yeekaalu ya Mukama. Abantu ne beeyongeranga okukola eby'obukyamu.

3. N'azimba oluggi olwa waggulu olw'omu nnyumba ya Mukama, n'azimba bingi ku bbugwe wa Oferi.

4. Era n'azimba ebibuga mu nsi ey'ensozi eya Yuda, ne mu kibira n'azimbamu enkomera n'ebigo.

5. Era n'alwana ne kabaka w'abaana ba Amoni n'abawangula. Abaana ba Amoni ne bamuwa mu mwaka ogwo ffeeza talanta kikumi n'eŋŋaano ebigero kakumi ne sayiri kakumi. Era ebyenkana n'ebyo abaana ba Amoni ne bamusasula mu mwaka ogw'okubiri ne mu gw'okusatu.

6. Awo Yosamu n'afuuka ow'amaanyi kubanga yateekateeka amakubo ge mu maaso ga Mukama Katonda we.

7. Era ebikolwa ebirala byonna ebya Yosamu n'entalo ze zonna n'amakubo ge, laba, byawandiikibwa mu kitabo kya bassekabaka ba Isiraeri ne Yuda.

8. Yali yaakamaze emyaka amakumi abiri mu etaano bwe yatanula okufuga, n'afugira emyaka kkumi na mukaaga mu Yerusaalemi.

9. Yosamu ne yeebakira wamu ne bajjajjaabe ne bamuziika mu kibuga kya Dawudi: Akazi mutabani we n'amuddira mu bigere.
