1. ස්වාමීන්වහන්සේගේ වචනය මා වෙතට පැමිණ කියනුයේ:

2. මනුෂ්‍ය පුත්‍රය, වෙන යම් ලී ජාතියකට නොහොත් වනයේ ගස්වලට වඩා මුද්‍රික අත්තේ ඇති අගය මොකද?

3. යම් වැඩක් කිරීමට එයින් ලී ගන්නෝද? නොහොත් යම් භාජනයක් එල්ලා තබන්ට එයින් ඇණයක් සාදාගන්නෝද?

4. බලව, ඒක දර පිණිස ගින්නට දමනු ලැබුවේය. එහි කොන් දෙක ගින්නෙන් දාලාගොස් මැදත් පත්තුවී තිබේ; ඒක යම් වැඩකට සුදුසුද?

5. ඒක සම්පූර්ණව තිබියදීවත් කිසි වැඩකට සුදුසු නොවීය. ඒක ගින්නට දාලාගොස් පත්තුවී තිබියදී සුදුසුවන්නේ කොහොමද? තවත් යම් වැඩකට ගනු ලැබේද?

6. එබැවින් ස්වාමිවූ දෙවියන්වහන්සේ මෙසේ කියනසේක: වනයේ ලී අතරේ මුද්‍රික ලීත් මා විසින් ගින්නට දර පිණිස දී තිබෙන්නාක්මෙන් යෙරුසලමේ වැසියන් දෙන්නෙමි.

7. මාගේ මුහුණද ඔවුන්ට විරුද්ධව තබන්නෙමි; ඔවුන් ගින්නෙන් නික්ම ගිය නුමුත් ගින්න ඔවුන් නාස්තිකරනවා ඇත; මා විසින් ඔවුන්ට විරුද්ධව මාගේ මුහුණ තබන විට මා ස්වාමීන්වහන්සේ බව නුඹලා දැනගන්නහුය.

8. ඔවුන් ද්‍රෝහිකම්කළ නිසා මම දේශය පාළුවක් කරන්නෙමියි ස්වාමිවූ දෙවියන්වහන්සේ කියනසේකැයි කීය.
