1. Sengathi ungadabula amazulu, wehle, zizamazame izintaba phambi kwakho

2. njengokuphenjwa komlilo ezinsabeni, nalapho umlilo ubilisa amanzi, ukuze wazise izitha zakho igama lakho, izizwe zithuthumele phambi kwakho.

3. Ekwenzeni kwakho okwesabekayo esingakubhekanga wehla; izintaba zathuthumela phambi kwakho.

4. Kusukela endulo abantu abezwanga, abacoshanga nangendlebe, futhi iso alibonanga uNkulunkulu ngaphandle kwakho osebenzela omhlalelayo.

5. Wahlangabeza labo ababethokoza ngokwenza ukulunga, labo abakukhumbulayo ezindleleni zakho. Wena wathukuthela, thina sona; sahlala kukho nasendulo; siyakusindiswa na?

6. Sonke saba njengongcolileyo, nokulunga kwethu konke kwakunjengengubo enindiweyo; sabuna sonke njengeqabunga, nobubi bethu basisusa njengomoya.

7. Kwakungekho owalibiza igama lakho, owazivusela ukubambelela kuwe, ngokuba wabusitheza ubuso bakho kithi, wasiqeda ngenxa yobubi bethu.

8. Kepha manje, Jehova, unguBaba; thina siyibumba, wena ungumbumbi wethu, singumsebenzi wesandla sakho sonke.

9. Ungathukutheli kakhulu, Jehova, ungakhumbuli njalo ububi. Bheka, mawubone ukuthi sonke singabantu bakho.

10. Imizi yakho engcwele iphendukile ihlane; iSiyoni liphendukile ihlane, neJerusalema liyincithakalo.

11. Indlu yethu engcwele nemangalisayo, lapho obaba babekudumisa khona, ishisiwe ngomlilo, nazo zonke izindawo zethu ezithandekayo ziphendukile izincithakalo.

12. Ungazibamba kukho konke lokhu, Jehova? Ungathula, uze usihluphe kangaka, na?
