1. දෙවියන්වහන්ස, අපි ඔබට ස්තුති කරමුව; ඔබගේ නාමය සමීප බැවින් ස්තුති කරමුව. මනුෂ්යයෝ ඔබගේ පුදුම ක්රියා ප්රකාශකරති.
2. නියම කාලය ලැබූ කල මම අවංකලෙස විනිශ්චයකරන්නෙමි.
3. පොළොවද එහි සියලු වැසියෝද දියව ගියෝය. මම ඒකේ ටැම් සිටුවීමි.
4. අහංකාරලෙස ක්රියා නොකරව්යයි අහංකාරීන්ටත් අඟ උසස් නොකරව්යයි දුෂ්ටයන්ටත් කීමි.
5. ඔබ සැමගේ අඟ උස් නොකරව්; තද කුළල් ඇතිව කථා නොකරව්.
6. මක්නිසාද උසස්කම නැගෙනහිරින්වත් බස්නාහිරින්වත් දකුණෙන්වත් නොවන්නේය.
7. නුමුත් දෙවියන්වහන්සේ විනිශ්චය කාරයාණෝය. උන්වහන්සේ එක්කෙනෙකු පහත් කරනසේක, අනිකෙකු උසස් කරනසේක.
8. මක්නිසාද ස්වාමීන්ගේ අතේ කුසලානක් ඇත, එහි මුද්රිකපානය පෙණ දමයි; එය මිශ්ර ද්රව්යයෙන් පිරී තිබේ, උන්වහන්සේ එයින් වත්කරනසේක. සැබවින් පොළොවේ සියලු දුෂ්ටයෝ එහි මණ්ඩි මිරිකා බොන්නෝය.
9. එහෙත් මම සදාකල් ප්රකාශ කරන්නෙමි, යාකොබ්ගේ දෙවියන්වහන්සේට ප්රශංසා ගී කියන්නෙමි.
10. දුෂ්ටයන්ගේ අං සියල්ලද කපාදමන්නෙමි; නුමුත් ධර්මිෂ්ඨයන්ගේ අං ඔසවනු ලබන්නේය.
