Sálmarnir 126

Kafli 126

1. Þegar Drottinn sneri við hag Síonar, þá var sem oss dreymdi.

2. Þá fylltist munnur vor hlátri, og tungur vorar fögnuði. Þá sögðu menn meðal þjóðanna: "Mikla hluti hefir Drottinn gjört við þá."

3. Drottinn hefir gjört mikla hluti við oss, vér vorum glaðir.

4. Snú við hag vorum, Drottinn, eins og þú gjörir við lækina í Suðurlandinu.

5. Þeir sem sá með tárum, munu uppskera með gleðisöng.

6. Grátandi fara menn og bera sæðið til sáningar, með gleðisöng koma þeir aftur og bera kornbindin heim.
