1. Kwafika ilizwi likaYehova kum, lisithi,

2. Nyana womntu, umthi womdiliya uyidlula ngantoni na yonke eminye imithi, isebe lomdiliya eliphakathi kwemithi yehlathi?

3. Kukha kuthatyathwe umthi yini na kuwo wokusebenza umsebenzi? Kukha kuthatyathwe nesikhonkwane na kuwo, sokuxhoma iimpahla nokuba ziziphi?

4. Yabona, ufakwa emlilweni ukuba uwutshise; umlilo utshisa iincam zawo zombini, sirhawuke isibili sawo; wowulungela na ke umsebenzi?

5. Yabona, oko ube usewonke, ubungenamsebenzi; wobeka phi na ke ukungabi namsebenzi, xa uthe watshiswa ngumlilo, warhawuka?

6. Ngako oko itsho iNkosi uYehova ukuthi, Njengomthi womdiliya phakathi kwemithi yehlathi, endiwufaka emlilweni ukuze utshiswe, ndenjenjalo ukubabeka emlilweni abemi baseYerusalem, Ndiya kubachasa;

7. baya kuphuma emlilweni, umlilo uya kubatshisa; nazi ukuba ndinguYehova ekubachaseni kwam.

8. Ndiya kwenza elizweni kube senkangala, ngenxa yokuba bemenezile ngobumenemene; itsho iNkosi uYehova.
