अध्याय 122
1. “आपण परमेश्वराच्या मंदिरात जाऊ या,” असे लोक म्हणाले तेव्हा मी खूप आनंदात होतो.
2. आपण इथे आहोत. यरुशलेमच्या दरवाजात उभे आहोत.
3. हे नवीन यरुशलेम आहे. हे शहर पुन्हा एक एकत्रित शहर म्हणून वसवण्यात आले.
4. कुटुंबांचे जथे जिथे जातात ती हीच जागा. इस्राएलचे लोक तिथे परमेश्वराच्या नावाचे गुणगान करण्यासाठी जातात. ही कुटुंबे देवाची आहेत.
5. राजांनी त्या ठिकाणी लोकांना न्याय देण्यासाठी सिंहासने मांडली. दावीदाच्या वंशातील राजांनी आपली सिंहासने त्या ठिकाणी मांडली.
6. यरुशलेममध्ये शांती नांदावी म्हणून प्रार्थना करा. “जे लोक तुझ्यावर प्रेम करतात त्यांना इथे शांती मिळेल,
7. अशी मी आशा करतो. तुझ्या चार भिंतींच्या आत शांती असेल अशी मी आशा करतो.”
8. तुझ्या मोठ्या इमारतीत, सुरक्षितता असेल अशी मी आशा करतो”. माझ्या भावांच्या आणि शेजाऱ्यांच्या भल्यासाठी तिथे शांती नांदो अशी मी आशा करतो.
9. आपला देव, आपला परमेश्वर, त्याच्या मंदिराच्या भल्यासाठी या शहरात चांगल्या गोष्टी घडाव्यात अशी मी प्रार्थना करतो.
