પ્રકરણ 97
1. યહોવા શાસન કરે છે. હે પૃથ્વી, આનંદિત થાઓ! હે દૂરનાં પ્રદેશો, સુખી થાઓ!
2. તેની આસપાસ મેઘ ને અંધકાર છે; ન્યાયીપણું તથા ન્યાય તેના રાજ્યાસનનો પાયો છે.
3. અગ્નિ તેમની આગળ ચાલે છે અને તેમનાં સર્વ શત્રુઓને ભસ્મ કરે છે.
4. તેમની વીજળીઓ જગતને ચમકાવે છે અને પ્રકાશિત કરે છે; તે જોઇને પૃથ્વી થરથર કાંપે છે.
5. પૃથ્વી પરના બધાં પર્વતો સમગ્ર પૃથ્વીના પ્રભુ યહોવા સમક્ષ મીણની જેમ પીગળી ગયાં.
6. તેનું ન્યાયીપણું આકાશો પ્રગટ કરે છે; અને સર્વ લોકોએ તેનો મહિમા જોયો છે.
7. મૂર્તિઓનું પૂજન કરનારા અને તેના વિષે ડંફાસ હાંકનારા સહુ શરમાઓ, તેમના “દેવો” નમશે અને યહોવાની ઉપાસના કરશે.
8. હે યહોવા, તમારા અદલ ન્યાયથી સિયોન આનંદ પામ્યું, તે સાંભળી યહૂદિયાની દીકરીઓ હરખાઇ.
9. હે યહોવા, સમગ્ર પૃથ્વીના પરાત્પર દેવ છો; અને તમે સર્વ દેવો કરતાં શ્રેષ્ઠ છો.
10. હે યહોવા, પર પ્રેમ કરનારાઓ, તમે દુષ્ટતાને ધિક્કારો, તે પોતાના ભકતોના આત્માઓનું રક્ષણ કરે છે. તે તેઓને દુષ્ટોના હાથમાંથી છોડાવે છે.
11. સજ્જનો પર તેજ પ્રકાશે છે, જેઓના હૃદય શુદ્ધ છે તેઓને સુખથી ભરી દેવામાં આવે છે.
12. હે ન્યાયી લોકો, તમે યહોવામાં આનંદ કરો; અને તેનાં પવિત્ર નામને માન આપો!
