પ્રકરણ 95
1. આવો, યહોવા સમક્ષ આપણે ગાઇએ; આપણા તારણના ખડક સમક્ષ હર્ષનાદ કરીએ.
2. તેની હજૂરમાં આભારસ્તુતિ સાથે આવીએ; અને આપણે તેની સમક્ષ સ્તુતિગાન કરીએ.
3. કારણ, યહોવા મહાન દેવ છે; તે સર્વ દેવો પર મહાન રાજા છે.
4. તેમનાં હાથમાં પૃથ્વીનાં ઊંડાણો છે; અને ઊંચા પર્વતોના માલિક પણ તે છે.
5. જેણે સમુદ્ર બનાવ્યો અને કોરી ભૂમિ પણ બનાવી તેમના તે માલિક છે.
6. આવો આપણે તેને ભજીએ અને નમીએ; ને આપણા કર્તા યહોવાને ઘૂંટણિયે પડીએ.
7. કારણ તે આપણા દેવ છે, આપણે તેના ચારાના લોક અને તેના હાથના ઘેટાં છીએ. આજે જો તમે તેની વાણી સાંભળો તો કેવું સારું!
8. દેવ કહે છે, “ઇસ્રાએલી લોકોએ અરણ્યમાં મરીબાહમાં તથા માસ્સાહમાં, પોતાના હૃદય કઠણ કર્યા, તેવું તમે કરશો નહિ.
9. તમારા પિતૃઓએ મારી કસોટી કરી, પરંતુ પછીથી તેઓએ જોયું કે હું શું કરી શકું છું!”
10. યહોવા દેવ કહે છે, “ચાળીસ વર્ષ સુધી મેં તે પેઢીને સહન કરી છે પણ જ્યારે હું તેમનાથી કંટાળ્યો ત્યારે મેં કહ્યું; તે લોકો અવિનયી છે. તેઓએ મારા માગોર્ કદી શીખ્યાં નથી.
11. મેં મારા અતીશય ક્રોધમાં પ્રતિજ્ઞા લીધી કે મેં તેઓ માટે નક્કી કરેલા વિશ્રામમાં વચનનાં દેશમાં, તેઓ કદાપિ પ્રવેશ કરશે જ નહિ.”
