પ્રકરણ 127

1. જો યહોવા ઘર ન બાંધે તો; બાંધનારાઓનો શ્રમ વ્યર્થ છે, અને જો યહોવા નગરનું રક્ષણ ન કરે તો; ચોકીદારનો ચોકી પહેરો સમયની બરબાદી છે!

2. જીવવા માટે વહેલી સવારથી મોડી રાત સુધી સખત પરિશ્રમ કરવાનો કોઇ અર્થ નથી, કારણકે તે તેમને ચાહનારા પ્રત્યેકને આરામ આપે છે.

3. બાળકો યહોવા પાસેથી મળેલી ભેટ છે. તેઓ માતાના દેહમાંથી મળેલું ઇનામ છે.

4. યુવાવસ્થામાંના પુત્રો તો; બળવાન વીર યોદ્ધાનાં હાથમાંના તીક્ષ્ણ બાણ જેવા છે.

5. જે માણસનો ભાથો તેનાથી ભરેલો છે તેને ધન્ય છે. જ્યારે તે નગરનાં દરવાજે શત્રુઓ સામે લડશે ત્યારે તે પરાજ્જિત નહિ થાય. કારણકે તેનાં પુત્રો તેનો બચાવ કરશે.
