1. Ndingumfiyo waseSharon, Ndiyinyibiba yasezintlangeni.

2. Njengenyibiba phakathi kweminga, Unjalo uwethu phakathi kweentombi.

3. Njengomapile phakathi kwemithi yehlathi, Injalo intanda yam phakathi koonyana. Ndanqwena, ndahlala phantsi emthunzini wawo, Nesiqhamo sawo sanencasa ekhuhlangubeni lam.

4. Indingenise endlwini yewayini, Nebhanile yayo phezu kwam luthando.

5. Ndixhaseni ngezicumba zeerasintyisi, Ndisekeleni ngeeapile; ngokuba ndisifa luthando.

6. Isandla sayo sokhohlo siphantsi kwentloko yam; Esokunene siyandiwola.

7. Zintombi zaseYerusalem, ndinifungisa Amabhadikazi namaxhamakazi asendle, Ukuba ningaluvusi, ukuba ningaluvuseleli uthando, Lude luthande.

8. Phulaphulani! Intanda yam, nantso isiza, Itsiba ezintabeni, isuka imitsi ezindulini.

9. Intanda yam ifana nebhadi, nenkonyana yexhama. Nantso imi emva kodonga lwakokwethu, Ithe nzo ngeefestile, Inyondla ngekroba.

10. Intanda yam yasusela, yathi kum, Suk’ ume, wethu, nzwakazi yam, uze;

11. Ngokuba uyabona, ubusika budlule, Imvula igqithile yemka;

12. Iintyantyambo zibonakele ezweni; Ixesha lokuntyiloza kweentaka lifikile; Izwi lehobe ivakele ezweni lethu;

13. Umkhiwane ukrwala amakhiwane awo, Imidiliya ityatyambile, Itsho ngevumba elimnandi. Suk’ ume, wethu, nzwakazi yam, uze.

14. Vukuthu lam elisemxawukeni wengxondorha, entsithelweni yemiba, Ndibonise ubuso bakho, ndivise ilizwi lakho; Ngokuba izwi lakho limnandi, ubuso bakho bunomkhitha.

15. Sibambeleni iimpungutye, iimpungutye ezincinane ezonakalisa izidiliya; Izidiliya zethu zityatyambile.

16. Intanda yam yeyam, mna ke ndingowayo Yalusela ezinyibibeni.

17. Ide iphole imini, oluke amathunzi, Jika, ntanda yam, uxelise ibhadi, uxelise inkonyana yexhama, Ezintabeni ezibugqagala.
