2. Inkaba yakho sisidendeleko esiyinqila; Masingasweli iwayini ephithikeziweyo; Isisu sakho sisidimbilili sengqolowa, Sibiyelwe ngeenyibiba.

3. Amabele akho omabini anjengamankonyana ebhadi, Amankonyana amabini ebhadi, angamawele.

4. Intamo yakho injengenqaba yophondo lwendlovu; Amehlo akho ngamachibi aseHeshbhon, Ngasesangweni layo, inabantu abaninzi; Impumlo yakho injengenqaba yaseLebhanon Ebheke eDamasko.

5. Intloko yakho phezu kwakho injengeKarmele, Ubuyakayaka bentloko yakho bunjengosinga olumfusa; Ukumkani ukhonkxwe ngeenjiko zabo.

6. Azi umhle, azi umnandi, Luthando, eziyolweni!

7. Iwonga lakho eli lifana nomthi wesundu; Amabele akho afana nezihloko zomdiliya.

8. Ndathi, Ndiya kuminya emthini wesundu; Ndiya kubambelela emagqabini awo; Amabele akho makabe njengezihloko zomdiliya, Nevumba lempumlo yakho libe njengeeapile;

9. Nekhuhlangubo lakho libe njengewayini le ilungileyo, Ihla kamnandi kwintanda yam, Ibanga ukuba uthethe umlomo wabaleleyo.

10. Mna ndingowentanda yam, Kukum ukungxamela kwayo.

11. Hamba, ntanda yam, siphume siye emaphandleni, Silale emizaneni.

12. Masivuke kusasa, siye ezidiliyeni, Sibone ukuba umdiliya unamathupha na, iintyantyambo zawo zibhenqekile na, Imirharnate ityatyambile na. Ndokunika apho izincokoliso zam.

13. Amathuma apha anevumba; Phezu kweminyango yethu ziziqhamo ngeziqhamo ezimnandi kakhulu, ezitsha kwanezidala, Endiziqwebele wena, ntanda yam.
