1. Akwaba ubunjengomnakwethu Obesanya amabele kama! Bendingathi, ndikufumene phandle, ndikwange, Bangandideli noko.

2. Bendiya kukuqhuba, bendiya kukusa endlwini kama; Ubuya kundifundisa. Bendiya kukuseza iwayini eqholiweyo, Nencindi yomrharnate wam.

3. Isandla sayo sokhohlo besiya kuba phantsi kwentloko yam, Esokunene sayo sindiwole.

4. Zintombi zaseYerusalem, ndiyanifungisa, Ningathini na ukuluvusa, ningathini na ukuluvuselela uthando, Lude luthande?

5. Ngubani na lo unyuka evela entlango, Esayama intanda yakhe? Ngaphantsi komapile lo ndakuvusa wena. Khona apha waba nenimba ngawe unyoko, Khona apha waba nenimba owakuzalayo.

6. Ndibeke njengomsesane wokutywina entliziyweni yakho, njengomsesane wokutywina engalweni yakho. Ngokuba uthando lunjengokufa, ukuba nengcwangu, Ubukhwele bunjengelabafileyo, ukuba lukhuni: Amalangatye abo ngamalangatye omlilo, Ngamadangatye kaYehova.

7. Amanzi amaninzi akanakulucima uthando; Imilambo ayinakuluntywilisela. Ingafanelana indoda irhole bonke ubuncwane bendlu yayo ngenxa yothando, Ingadelwa ideliwe.

8. Sinomsakwethu omncinane, Akakabi namabele. Siya kuthini na ngomsakwethu, Mini aganelweyo?

9. Ukuba uludonga yena, Siya kwakha phezu kwalo uqoqo lwesilivere; Ukuba ungumnyango, Somrhaqa ngamaceba omsedare.

10. Ndaba ludonga mna, namabele am anjengenqaba; Ndaza emehlweni ayo ndaba njengo fumene uxolo.

11. USolomon ubenesidiliya eBhahali-amon, Isidiliya wasinikela kubagcini, Ukuze elowo azise iwaka lesilivere ngesiqhamo saso.

12. Isidiliya sam, esisesam, sona siselulawulweni lwam; Iwaka elo lelakho, Solomon; Amakhulu amabini ngawabagcini besiqhamo saso.

13. Wena uhleliyo emiyezweni, Amakholwane alibazela indlebe izwi lakho, Ndivise.

14. Dloba, ntanda yam, Uxelise ibhadi namankonyana amaxhama Ezintabeni zobulawu.
