2. Intanda yam ihle yaya emyezweni wayo, emityinweni yetyeleba, Ukuba yalusele emyezweni, ukuba ikhe iinyibiba.

3. Mna ndingowentanda yam, nentanda yam yeyam yona; Yalusela ezinyibibeni.

4. Uyinzwakazi, wethu, njengeTirtsa, Unomkhitha njengeYerusalem; Woyikeka njengemikhosi eneebhanile.

5. Wasuse amehlo akho kum, Ngokuba andiqwelile. Iinwele zakho zinjengomhlambi weebhokhwe Ezisemathambekeni aseGiliyadi.

6. Amazinyo akho anjengomhlambi weemazi zeegusha Ezinyukayo, zivela ekuhlanjweni, Zonke zizele amawele, Kungekho ifelweyo kuzo.

7. Zinjengothanda lwerharnate iintlafuno zakho, Ngaphaya kwesigqubuthelo sakho.

8. Bangamashumi amathandathu ookumkanikazi, angamashumi asibhozo amashweshwe, Neentombi ezingenakubalwa.

9. Mnye yena olivukuthu lam oyingqibeleli yam; Mnye yena kunina, Umnyulwa walowo wamzalayo. Zambona iintombi, zathi unoyolo, Bamdumisa ookumkanikazi namashweshwe.

10. Ngubani na lo uthi gqi njengesifingo, Mhle njengenyanga, Unyulu njengelanga, Woyikeka njengemikhosi eneebhanile?

11. Bendihle ndaya emyezweni weminoti, Ukuba ndikhangele uhlaza lwesihlambo, Ndikhangele ukuba umdiliya unamathupha na, Imirharnate ityatyambile na.

12. Bendingazi ukuba umphefumlo wam undibeke Ezinqwelweni zabantu bam, zamanene.

13. Buya, buya, mShulamikazi; Buya, buya, sikubone. Nibona ntoni na kumShulamikazi, Njengokungathi kukuqamba kwabaMahanayim?
