Isahluko 2

1. Ndaphakamisa amehlo am, ndakhangela, Nanko umntu ephethe ngesandla ulutya lokulinganisa.

2. Ndathi ke, Uya ngaphi na? Wathi kum, Ndiya kulinganisa iYerusalem, ndibone ukuba bungakanani na ububanzi bayo, bungakanani na ubude bayo.

3. Naso ke isithunywa esibe sithetha nam siphuma, kuphuma nesinye isithunywa, sisiya kusikhawulela.

4. Sathi kuso, Gidima, uthethe nalaa ndodana, uthi, IYerusalem iya kuhlala ngokwamaphandle, ngenxa yobuninzi babantu neenkomo eziphakathi kwayo.

5. Ndiya kuba ludonga lomlilo kuyo mna ngeenxa zonke, utsho uYehova; ndibe bubuqaqawuli phakathi kwayo.

6. Wenani! wenani! Sabani ezweni langasentla, utsho uYehova; ngokuba ndiniphangalalisa njengemimoya yomine yezulu; utsho uYehova.

7. Wa, Ziyon! Zisindise, wena uhleli nentombi enguBhabheli.

8. Ngokuba utsho uYehova wemikhosi ukuthi, Undithume ukuphuthuma uzuko ezintlangeni ezanibhunyulayo; ngokuba onichukumisayo, uchukumisa ukhozo lweliso lakhe.

9. Ngokuba, uyabona, ndiya kulingisa ngesandla sam kuzo, zibe ngamaxhoba kwababezikhonza; nazi ukuba uYehova wemikhosi undithumile.

10. Memelela uvuye, ntombi inguZiyon; ngokuba, uyabona, ndiyeza, ndihlale phakathi kwakho; utsho uYehova.

11. Kuya kuthelela kuYehova iintlanga ezininzi ngaloo mini, zibe ngabantu bam, ndihlale phakathi kwakho; wazi ukuba uYehova wemikhosi undithumele kuwe.

12. UYehova uya kumdla ilifa uYuda, isahlulo sakhe emhlabeni ongcwele, abuye ayinyule iYerusalem.

13. Mayithi tu yonke inyama phambi koYehova; ngokuba esukile ekhayeni lakhe elingcwele.
