ਅਧਿਆਇ 28

1. ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰਾਂਗਾ, ਹੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਚਟਾਨ, ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਚੁੱਪ ਨਾ ਰਹੁ, ਮਤੇ ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਚੁੱਪ ਵੱਟ ਲਵੇਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਗੋਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਤਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

2. ਮੇਰੀ ਅਰਜੋਈ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣ ਲੈ, ਜਦ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਦੇਵਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਦੀ ਵਿਚਲੀ ਕੋਠੜੀ ਵੱਲ ਉਠਾਵਾਂ।

3. ਬੁਰਿਆਰਾਂ ਅਰ ਕੁਕਰਮੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਧੂਹ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਆਢੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦੀ ਹੈ।

4. ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਗੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਦਕਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਹ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਹ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾ ਦੇਹ,

5. ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਿ ਓਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਗੌਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ, ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਢਾਹੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਾਰੇਗਾ ਨਾ।

6. ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਹੋਵੇ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਅਰਜੋਈਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣੀ ਹੈ।

7. ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਬਲ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਢਾਲ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਮੌਜ ਮਾਨਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੀਤ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।

8. ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਲ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਸਹ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਬਚਾਓ ਦਾ ਗੜ੍ਹ ਹੈ।

9. ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਕਤ ਦੇਹ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਨਾ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਰੱਖ।
