1. ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਹੀ ਵਧ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਬਹੁਤ ਉੱਠ ਖੜੋਤੇ ਹਨ!

2. ਬਾਹਲੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਭਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਾਓ ਹੈ ਨਹੀਂ।

3. ਪਰ ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਢਾਲ ਹੈਂ, ਮੇਰੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਿਰ ਦਾ ਉਠਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ।

4. ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪਹਾੜੋਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

5. ਮੈਂ ਲੰਮਾ ਪੈ ਗਿਆ ਤੇ ਸੌਂ ਗਿਆ, ਮੈਂ ਜਾਗ ਉੱਠਿਆ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲਦਾ ਹੈ।

6. ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਧਾੜਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਡਰਾਂਗਾ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਲੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਘੇਰਾ ਪਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।

7. ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਉੱਠ! ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ, ਤੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਖਾਖਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੰਦ ਭੰਨ ਸੁੱਟੇ ਹਨ।

8. ਬਚਾਓ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੈ, ਤੇਰੀ ਬਰਕਤ ਤੇਰੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋਵੇ।
