Fejezet 52
1. Mikor az Idumeus Dóeg eljött és hírt vitt Saulnak, és ezt mondá néki: Dávid az Akhimélek házába ment be. (52:3) Mit dicsekedel gonoszságban, oh te magabíró? Az Istennek kegyelme szüntelen való!
2. (52:4) Nyelved ártalmakon elmélkedik, s olyan mint az éles olló, te álnokságnak mestere!
3. (52:5) Szereted a gonoszt inkább, hogy nem a jót, és a hazugságot inkább, mint igazságot szólni. Szela.
4. (52:6) Szeretsz minden ártalmas beszédet, és az álnok nyelvet.
5. (52:7) Meg is ront az Isten téged, teljesen eltakarít, kigyomlál téged a te hajlékodból, és kiszaggat téged az élõk földérõl. Szela.
6. (52:8) És látják ezt az igazak, és félnek, és nevetnek rajta:
7. (52:9) Ímé az a férfiú, a ki nem Istent fogadta erõsségévé, hanem az õ gazdagságának sokaságában bízott, és ereje az õ gonoszságában volt!
8. (52:10) Én pedig mint zöldelõ olajfa Isten házában, bízom Isten kegyelmében mind örökkön örökké.
9. (52:11) Áldlak téged örökké, hogy így cselekedtél; nevedben remélek, mert jóságos vagy, a te híveid elõtt.
