باب 63

1. اَے خُدا ! تُو میرا خُدا ہے۔ میَں دِل سے تیرا طالِب ہونگا۔خُشک اور پیاسی اور میرا جِسم تیرا مُشتاق ہے۔

2. اِس طرح میَں نے مقدِس میں تجھ پر نِگاہ کی تاکہ تیری قُدرت اور حشمت کو دیکھُوں

3. کیونکہ تیری شفقت زندگی سے بہتر ہے۔میرے ہونٹ تیری تعریف کریں گے۔

4. اِسی طرح میَں عُمر بھر تجھے مُبارِک کہونگا۔ اور تیرا نام لے کر اپنے ہاتھ اُٹھایا کروں گا۔

5. میری جان گویا گُودے اور چربی سے سیر ہو گی۔ اور میرا مُنہ مسرُور لبوں سے تیری تعریف کریگا۔

6. جب میَں بِستر پر تجھے یاد کرُونگا اور رات کے ایک ایک پہر میں تجھ پر دھیان کروُنگا۔

7. اِسلئے کہ تُو میرا مدد گار رہا ہے اور میَں تیرے پروں کے سایہ میں خُوشی مناؤنگا۔

8. میری جان کو تیری ہی دُھن ہے۔تیرا دہنا ہاتھ مجھے سنبھالتا ہے۔

9. پر جو میری جان کی ہلاکت کے دَرپے ہیں وہ زمین کے اسفل میں چلے جائینگے۔

10. وہ تلوار کے حوالہ ہونگے۔ وہ گیِدڑوں کا لُقمہ بنینگے۔

11. لیکن بادشاہ خُدا میں شادمان ہوگا۔ جواُسکی قسم کھاتا ہے وہ فخر کریگا کیونکہ جھُوٹ بولنے والوں کا مُنہ بند کردِیا جائیگا۔
