باب 141

1. اَے خُداوند میَں نے تیری دُہائی دی ہے۔ میری طرف جلد آ۔ جب میَں تجھ سے دُعا کروں تُو میری آواز پر کان لگا۔

2. میری دُعا تیرے حُضُور بخور کی مانند ہو۔ اور میرا ہاتھ اُٹھانا شام کی قُربانی کی مانند ۔

3. اَے خُداوند! میرے مُنہ پر پہرا بٹھا۔ میرے لبوں کے دروازہ کی نگہبانی کر۔

4. میرے دِل کو کِسی بُری بات کی طرف مائل نہ ہونے دے کہ بدکاروں کے ساتھ ملکر شرارت کے کاموں میں مصروف ہو جائے اور مجھے اُنکے نفیس کھانوں سے باز رکھ۔

5. صادِق مجھے مارے تو مہربانی ہو گی۔ وہ مجھے تنبیہ کرے تو گویا سر پر روغن ہو گا۔ میرا سر اِس سے اِنکار نہ کرے۔ کیونکہ اُنکی شرارت میں بھی میَں دُعا کرتا رہونگا۔

6. اُنکے حاکم چٹان کے کناروں پر سے گِرا دئے گئے ہیں۔ اور وہ میری باتیں سُنینگے کیونکہ وہ شیرین ہیں۔

7. جَیسے ہل چلا کر زمین کو توڑتا ہے ویسے ہی ہماری ہڈیاں پاتال کے مُنہ پر بکھری پڑی ہیں۔

8. کیونکہ اَے مالک خُداوند ! میری آنکھیں تیری طرف ہیں۔ میرا توکل تجھ پر ہے۔ میری جان کو بے کس نہ چھوڑ۔

9. مجھے اُس پھندے سے جو اُنہوں نے میرے لئے لگایا ہے اور بدکرداروں کے دام سے بچا۔

10. شریر آپ اپنے جال میں پھنسیں اور میَں سلامت بچ نِکلوں۔
