باب 48

1. ہما رے خُدا کے شہر میں ۔ اپنے کوِہ مقُدس پر خُدا وند بُزرگ اور بے ستا ُیش کے لالٔق ہے۔

2. شِمال کی جانب کوہِ صیُون جو بڑے بادشاہ کا شہر ہے۔ وہ بلندی میں خوشنما اور تمام زمین کا فخر ہے۔

3. اُس کے محؑلوں میں خُدا پناہ مانا جاتاہے۔

4. کیونکہ دیکھو!بادشاہ اکھٹے ؑ ہوےٗ۔ وہ مل کرگزُرے ۔

5. وہ یکھ کر دنگ ہو گےؑ۔وہ گھبرا کر بھا گے۔

6. وہاں کپکپی نے اُنکو ٓاوبایااوراَیسےدردنے جَیسادردِزہِ۔

7. توُُ پوُربی ہوا سے ترسِیس کے جہازوں کو توڑڈالتاہے۔

8. لشکروں کے شہر خُداوند کے شہر میں یعنی اپنے خُداکے شہر میں جیِسا ہم نے سنا تھا وَیسا ہی ہم نے دیکھا ۔خُداہمیشہ اُسے بر قراررکھے گا۔

9. اَے خُدا تیری ہیکل کے اندرہم نے تیر ی شفقت پر غور َ کیا ہے۔

10. اَے خُدا !جیسا تیرا نام ہے ۔ وُیسی ہی تیری سِتایش زمین کی اِنتہا تک ہے ۔تیرادہناہاتھ صداقت سے معُمور ہے ۔

11. تیرے کے سبب سے کوُہ صیُون زشادمان ہو یہوُادہ کی بیٹیاں خو شی مناُ ٔ ئیں !

12. صیُون کے گِرد پھرو اوراُسکا طواف کرو۔ اُسکے بُرجوں کو گِنو۔

13. اُسکی شہر پناہ کو خُو ب دیکھ لو۔ اُسکے محلؑوں پر غورکرو۔تاکہ تمُ ٓانے والی نسل کو اُسکی خبرردے سکو

14. کیونکہ یہی خُدا ابداُ لاہماراخُداہے۔یہی موت تک ہمارا ہادی رہیگا۔
