باب 138

1. میَں پورے دِل سے تیرا شُکر کروُنگا۔ معبودوں کے سامنے تیری مدح سرائی کرونگا۔

2. میَں تیری مُقدس ہیکل کی طرف رُخ کر کے سجدہ کرونگا اور تیری شفقت اور سچّائی کی خاطر تیرے نام کا شُکر کرونگا۔ کیونکہ تُو نے اپنے کلام کو اپنے ہر نام سے زیادہ عظمت دی ہے۔

3. جِس دن میَں نے تجھ سے دُعا کی تُو نے مجھے جواب دیا۔ اور میری جان کو تقویت دیکر میرا حوصلہ بڑھایا۔

4. اَے خُداوند ! زمین کے سب بادشاہ تیرا شُکر کرینگے۔ کیونکہ اُنہوں نے تیرے مُنہ کا کلام سُنا ہے۔

5. بلکہ وہ خُداوند کی راہوں کا گیت گائینگے۔ کیونکہ خُداوند کا جلال بڑا ہے۔

6. کیونکہ خُداوند اگرچہ بُلند و بالا ہے تو بھی خاکساروں کا خیال رکھتا ہے۔ لیکن مغرور کو دور ہی سے پہچان لیتا ہے۔

7. خواہ میں دُکھ میں سے گُذروں تُو مجھے تازہ دم کریگا۔ تُو میرے دُشمنوں کے کے قہر کے خلاف ہاتھ بڑھائیگا۔ اور تیرا دہنا ہاتھ مجھے بچا لیگا۔

8. خُداوند میرے لئے سب کُچھ کریگا۔ اَے خُداوند! تیری شفقت ابدی ہے۔ اپنی دستکاری کو ترک نہ کر۔
