1. O rue, na mb͕e ọb͕ub͕a arọ, na mb͕e ndi-eze nāpu ibu agha, na Joab dupuru ndi-dìnkpà nke usu-ndi-agha, bibie ala umu Amon, bia, nọchigide Raba n'agha. Ma Devid nānọdu na Jerusalem. Joab we tib͕ue Raba, kwada kwa ya.

2. Devid we kpupu okpu-eze nke eze-ha n'isi-ya, we hu na o ruru otù talent ọla-edo n'ọtùtù, nkume di okè ọnu-ahia di kwa nime ya; o we di n'isi Devid: o weputa-kwa-ra ihe-nkwata obodo ahu, nke riri nne nke-uku.

3. O me-kwa-ra ka ndi nọ nime ya puta, o do ha n'okpuru mma-nkwọ, na n'okpuru ígwè nēbì ihe, na n'okpuru anyu-ike. Otù a ka Devid nēme kwa obodo nile nke umu Amon. Devid na ndi Israel nile we lata na Jerusalem.

4. O rue, mb͕e ihe a gasiri, na agha biliri na Gezea nke ebusoro ndi Filistia: mb͕e ahu Sibekai onye Husha tib͕uru Sipai, nke sitere n'umu Rafa: ewe me ka ha ruru ala.

5. Agha we di ọzọ ebusoro ndi Filistia; Elhanam nwa Jaia we tib͕ue Lahmi, bú nwa-nne Gọlaiat onye Gat, onye osisi ube-ya di ka oké ókpòrò di arọ́ nke ọkpa-ákwà ji akpa ákwà.

6. Agha we di ọzọ na Gat, ma otù nwoke toro ogologo nọ n'ebe ahu, nkpisi aka-ya abua di isi isi, nkpisi ukwu-ya abua di kwa isi isi, ha nile di orú na anọ; ma amu-kwa-ra onye ahu nye Rafa.

7. Ọ ta Israel uta, Jonatan nwa Shimea, bú nwa-nne Devid, we tib͕ue ya.

8. Ndia ka amuru nye Rafa nime Gat; ha we da site n'aka Devid, na site n'aka ndi-orù-ya.
