Κεφάλαιο 26

1. ΚΡΙΝΕ με, Κύριε· επειδή, εγώ περπάτησα μέσα στην ακακία μου· και έλπισα στον Κύριο, δεν θα σαλευτώ.

2. Εξέτασέ με, Κύριε, και δοκίμασέ με· δοκίμασε τα νεφρά μου και την καρδιά μου.

3. Επειδή, το έλεός σου είναι μπροστά στα μάτια μου· και περπάτησα στην αλήθεια σου.

4. Δεν κάθησα με μάταιους ανθρώπους· και ούτε θα πάω με υποκριτές.

5. Μίσησα τη σύναξη των πονηρευόμενων, και με ασεβείς δεν θα καθήσω.

6. Θα νίψω τα χέρια μου με αθωότητα, και θα περικυκλώσω το θυσιαστήριό σου, Κύριε·

7. για να κάνω να αντηχήσει φωνή αίνεσης, και να διηγηθώ όλα τα θαυμάσιά σου.

8. Κύριε, αγάπησα την κατοίκηση του οίκου σου, και τον τόπο τής σκηνής τής δόξας σου.

9. Μη συμπεριλάβεις την ψυχή μου με αμαρτωλούς, και τη ζωή μου με άνδρες αιμάτων·

10. στα χέρια των οποίων υπάρχει ανομία, και το δεξί τους χέρι είναι γεμάτο από δώρα.

11. Εγώ, όμως, θα περπατάω μέσα στην ακακία μου· λύτρωσέ με, και ελέησέ με.

12. Το πόδι μου στέκεται στην ευθύτητα· μέσα σε εκκλησίες θα ευλογώ τον Κύριο.
