Κεφάλαιο 6
1. ΚΥΡΙΕ, μη με ελέγξεις στον θυμό σου ούτε στην οργή σου να με περάσεις από παιδεία.
2. Ελέησέ με, Κύριε, επειδή είμαι αδύνατος· γιάτρεψέ με, Κύριε, επειδή ταράχτηκαν τα κόκαλά μου.
3. Και η ψυχή μου ταράχτηκε υπερβολικά· αλλ' εσύ, Κύριε, μέχρι πότε;
4. Επίστρεψε, Κύριε· λύτρωσε την ψυχή μου· σώσε με εξαιτίας τού ελέους σου.
5. Επειδή, στον θάνατο δεν υπάρχει ενθύμηση για σένα· στον άδη ποιος θα σε δοξολογήσει;
6. Απέκαμα στον στεναγμό μου· όλη τη νύχτα λούζω το κρεβάτι μου· με τα δάκρυά μου καταβρέχω το στρώμα μου.
7. Το μάτι μου μαράθηκε από τη θλίψη· γέρασε εξαιτίας όλων των εχθρών μου.
8. Απομακρυνθείτε από μένα, όλοι οι εργάτες τής ανομίας, επειδή, ο Κύριος άκουσε τη φωνή τού κλαυθμού μου.
9. Ο Κύριος άκουσε τη δέησή μου· ο Κύριος δέχθηκε την προσευχή μου.
10. Ας ντραπούν, και ας ταραχτούν υπερβολικά, όλοι οι εχθροί μου· ας στραφούν προς τα πίσω· ας καταντροπιαστούν ξαφνικά.
