Κεφάλαιο 29

1. ΑΠΟΔΩΣΤΕ στον Κύριο, γιοι των δυνατών, αποδώστε στον Κύριο δόξα και δύναμη.

2. Αποδώσετε στον Κύριο τη δόξα τού ονόματός του· προσκυνήστε τόν Κύριο μέσα στο μεγαλοπρεπές αγιαστήριό του.

3. Η φωνή τού Κυρίου είναι επάνω στα νερά· ο Θεός τής δόξας βροντάει· ο Κύριος είναι επάνω σε πολλά νερά.

4. Η φωνή τού Κυρίου είναι δυνατή· η φωνή τού Κυρίου είναι μεγαλοπρεπής.

5. Η φωνή τού Κυρίου συντρίβει κέδρους· και συντρίβει ο Κύριος τους κέδρους τού Λιβάνου·

6. και τους κάνει να σκιρτούν σαν μοσχάρι· τον Λίβανο, και το Σιριών, σαν μικρό μονοκέρατο ζώο.

7. Η φωνή τού Κυρίου διαιρεί πέρα για πέρα τις φλόγες τής φωτιάς.

8. Η φωνή τού Κυρίου σείει την έρημο· ο Κύριος σείει την έρημο Κάδης.

9. Η φωνή τού Κυρίου κάνει να κοιλοπονούν οι ελαφίνες, και γυμνώνει τα δάση· μέσα δε στον ναό του καθένας κηρύττει τη δόξα του.

10. Ο Κύριος κάθεται επάνω στον κατακλυσμό· και κάθεται ο Κύριος Βασιλιάς στον αιώνα.

11. Ο Κύριος θα δώσει δύναμη στον λαό του· ο Κύριος θα ευλογήσει τον λαό του με ειρήνη.
