Κεφάλαιο 11

1. ΣΤΟΝ Κύριο εμπιστεύθηκα· πώς λέτε στην ψυχή μου: Φεύγε στο βουνό σας σαν πουλί;

2. Επειδή, δέστε, οι ασεβείς ετοίμασαν τόξο, στερέωσαν τα βέλη τους επάνω στη χορδή, ώστε μέσα σε σκοτάδι να τοξεύσουν τους ευθείς στην καρδιά.

3. Όταν τα θεμέλια καταστραφούν, τι μπορεί να κάνει ο δίκαιος;

4. Ο Κύριος βρίσκεται μέσα στον άγιο ναό του· ο Κύριος έχει τον θρόνο του στον ουρανό. Τα μάτια του βλέπουν, τα βλέφαρά του εξετάζουν τους γιους των ανθρώπων.

5. Ο Κύριος εξετάζει τον δίκαιο· τον ασεβή, όμως, κι εκείνον που αγαπάει την αδικία, τον μισεί η ψυχή του.

6. Θα βρέξει επάνω στους ασεβείς παγίδες· φωτιά, και θειάφι και ανεμοζάλη είναι η μερίδα τού ποτηριού τους.

7. Επειδή, ο Κύριος, είναι δίκαιος, αγαπάει δικαιοσύνη· το πρόσωπό του παρατηρεί ευθύτητα.
