1. ΚΥΡΙΕ, πόσο πολλαπλασιάστηκαν οι εχθροί μου! Πολλοί επαναστατούν εναντίον μου·

2. πολλοί λένε για την ψυχή μου: Δεν υπάρχει γι' αυτόν σωτηρία στον Θεό. (Διάψαλμα).

3. Αλλ' εσύ, Κύριε, είσαι η ασπίδα μου, η δόξα μου, και εκείνος που υψώνει το κεφάλι μου.

4. Έκραξα με τη φωνή μου προς τον Κύριο, και με εισάκουσε από το βουνό του το άγιο. (Διάψαλμα).

5. Εγώ πλάγιασα, και κοιμήθηκα· σηκώθηκα· επειδή, ο Κύριος με υποστηρίζει.

6. Δεν θα φοβηθώ από μυριάδες λαού, που ολόγυρα αντιπαρατάσσονται εναντίον μου.

7. Σήκω, Κύριε· σώσε με, Θεέ μου· επειδή, εσύ πάταξες όλους τους εχθρούς μου επάνω στο σαγόνι· σύντριψες τα δόντια των ασεβών.

8. Του Κυρίου είναι η σωτηρία· επάνω στον λαό σου είναι η ευλογία σου. (Διάψαλμα).
