Κεφάλαιο 47

1. ΟΛΟΙ οι λαοί, κροτήστε τα χέρια· αλαλάξτε στον Θεό με φωνή αγαλλίασης.

2. Επειδή, ο Κύριος είναι Ύψιστος, φοβερός, μεγάλος βασιλιάς σε ολόκληρη τη γη.

3. Υπέταξε σε μας λαούς, και έθνη κάτω από τα πόδια μας.

4. Διάλεξε για μας την κληρονομιά μας, τη δόξα τού Ιακώβ, τον οποίο αγάπησε. (Διάψαλμα).

5. Ο Θεός ανέβηκε με αλαλαγμό, ο Κύριος ανέβηκε με φωνή σάλπιγγας.

6. Ψάλτε στον Θεό, ψάλτε· ψάλτε στον Βασιλιά μας, ψάλτε.

7. Επειδή, Βασιλιάς ολόκληρης της γης είναι ο Θεός· ψάλτε με σύνεση.

8. Ο Θεός βασιλεύει επάνω στα έθνη· ο Θεός κάθεται επάνω στον θρόνο τής αγιότητάς του.

9. Οι άρχοντες των λαών συγκεντρώθηκαν μαζί με τον λαό τού Θεού τού Αβραάμ· επειδή, του Θεού είναι οι ασπίδες της γής· υψώθηκε υπερβολικά.
