Κεφάλαιο 98
1. ΨΑΛΤΕ στον Κύριο νέο τραγούδι· επειδή, έκανε θαυμαστά έργα· το δεξί του χέρι, και ο βραχίονάς του ο άγιος, ενέργησαν σ' αυτόν σωτηρία.
2. Ο Κύριος έκανε γνωστή τη σωτηρία του· μπροστά στα έθνη αποκάλυψε τη δικαιοσύνη του.
3. Θυμήθηκε το έλεός του και την αλήθεια του προς τον οίκο Ισραήλ· όλα τα πέρατα της γης είδαν τη σωτηρία τού Θεού μας.
4. Αλαλάξτε στον Κύριο, όλη η γη· ευφραίνεστε και αγάλλεστε και ψαλμωδείτε.
5. Ψαλμωδείτε στον Κύριο με κιθάρα, με κιθάρα και φωνή ψαλμωδίας.
6. Με σάλπιγγες, και με φωνή κεράτινης σάλπιγγας, αλαλάξτε μπροστά στον Βασιλιά Κύριο.
7. Ας ηχεί η θάλασσα, και το πλήρωμά της· η οικουμένη, κι αυτοί που κατοικούν σ' αυτή.
8. Οι ποταμοί ας κροτούν τα χέρια, τα βουνά ας αγάλλονται μαζί,
9. μπροστά στον Κύριο· επειδή, έρχεται για να κρίνει τη γη· θα κρίνει την οικουμένη με δικαιοσύνη, και τους λαούς με ευθύτητα.
