باب 53

1. احمق نے اپنے دِل میں کہا ہے کہ کوئی خُدا نہیں۔وہ بِگڑ گئے۔ اُنہوں نے نفرت انگیز بدی کی۔ کوئی نیکوکار نہیں۔

2. خُدا نے آسمان پر سے بنی آدم پر نِگاہ کی تاکہ دیکھے کوئی دانِشمند۔ کوئی خُدا کا طالب ہے یا نہیں۔

3. وہ سب کے سب پھِر گئےہیں۔ وہ باہم نِجس ہو گئے۔ کوئی نیکوکار نہیں۔ ایک بھی نہیں۔

4. کیا اُن سب بدکاروں کو کُچھ علم نہیں جو میرے لوگوں کو ایسے کھاتے ہیں جیسے روٹی اور خُدا کا نام بھی نہیں لیتے؟

5. وہاں اُن پر بڑا خُوف چھا گیاگوخُوف کی کوئی بات نہ تھی کیونکہ خُدا نے اُن کی ہڈیاں جو تیرے خلاف خیمہ زن تھے بکھیر دیں تُو نے اُن کو شرمِندہ کر دِیا۔اِس لئے کہ خُدا نے اُن کو رد کر دیاہے۔

6. کاشکہ اِسرائیل کی نِجات صیُون میں سے ہوتی! جب خُدا اپنے لوگوں کو اِسیری سے لُوٹالائیگا تو یعقُوب خُوش اور اِسرائیل شادمان ہو گا۔
