باب 28

1. اَے خُداوند! مَیں تجھ ہی کو پُکارونگا۔ اَے میری چٹان! تُو میری طرف سے کان بندنہ کر۔ ایسا نہ ہو کہ اگر تُو میری طرف سے خاموش رہے تو مَیں اُن کی مانند بن جاؤں جو پاتال میں جاتے ہیں۔

2. جب مَیں تجھ سے فریاد کروں اور اپنے ہاتھ تیری مُقدس ہیکل کی طرف اُٹھاؤں تو میری مِنت کی آواز کو سُن لے۔

3. مجھے اُن شریروں اور بدکرداروں کے ساتھ گھسیٹ نہ لیجا جو اپنے ہمسایوں سے صُلح کی باتیں کرتے ہیں مگر اُن کے دِلوں میں بدی ہے۔

4. اُن کے افعال واعمال کی بُرائی کے مُوافق اُن کو بدلہ دے۔ اُن کے ہاتھوں کے کاموں کے مُطابق اُن سے سلُوک کر۔ اُ ن کے کِئے کا عوض اُن کو دے۔

5. وہ خُداوند کے کاموں اور اُس کی دستکاری پر دھیان نہیں کرتے۔ اِس لئے وہ اُن کو گِرا دیگااور پھر نہیں اُٹھائیگا۔

6. خُداوند مُبارک ہو۔ اِس لئے کہ اُس نے میری مِنت کی آواز سُن لی۔

7. خُداوند میری قوت اور میری سِپر ہے۔ میرے دِل نے اُس پر تُوکل کیا ہے اور مجھے مدد ملی ہے۔ اِسی لئے میرا دِل نہایت شادمان ہے اور میں گیت گا کر اُس کی ستائش کرونگا۔

8. خُداوند اُن کی قوت ہے۔ وہ اپنے ممسوح کے لئے نجات کا قلعہ ہے۔

9. اپنی اُمت کو بچا اور اپنی میراث کو برکت دے۔ اُن کی پاسبانی کر اور اُن کو ہمیشہ تک سنبھالے رہ۔
