1. Herren er blitt konge, folkene bever, han som troner over kjeruber, jorden ryster.
2. Herren er stor i Sion, og ophøiet er han over alle folkene.
3. De skal prise ditt navn, det store og forferdelige; hellig er han.
4. Og i sin styrke elsker kongen rettferd; du har grunnfestet rettvishet, du har gjort rett og rettferdighet i Jakob.
5. Ophøi Herren vår Gud, og kast eder ned for hans føtters skammel! Hellig er han.
6. Moses og Aron var blandt hans prester, og Samuel blandt dem som påkalte hans navn; de ropte til Herren, og han svarte dem.
7. I en skystøtte talte han til dem; de holdt hans vidnesbyrd og den lov han gav dem.
8. Herre vår Gud, du svarte dem; du var dem en Gud som tilgav dem, men også en hevner over deres gjerninger.
9. Ophøi Herren vår Gud, og kast eder ned for hans hellige berg! For hellig er Herren vår Gud.
