Κεφάλαιο 122

1. ΕΥΦΡΑΝΘΗΚΑ όταν μου είπαν: Ας πάμε στον οίκο τού Κυρίου.

2. Τα πόδια μας θα στέκονται στις πύλες σου, Ιερουσαλήμ·

3. Ιερουσαλήμ, που είσαι οικοδομημένη σαν πόλη συναρμοσμένη μαζί.

4. Εκεί ανεβαίνουν οι φυλές, οι φυλές τού Κυρίου, σύμφωνα με το διαταγμένο στον Ισραήλ, για να δοξολογήσουν το όνομα του Κυρίου.

5. Επειδή, εκεί τέθηκαν θρόνοι για κρίση, οι θρόνοι τής οικογένειας του Δαβίδ.

6. Ζητάτε την ειρήνη τής Ιερουσαλήμ· ας ευτυχούν εκείνοι που σε αγαπούν.

7. Ας είναι ειρήνη στα τείχη σου, αφθονία στα παλάτια σου.

8. Ένεκα των αδελφών μου, και των πλησίον μου, θα λέω τώρα: Ειρήνη σε σένα!

9. Ένεκα του οίκου τού Κυρίου τού Θεού μας, θα ζητάω το καλό σου.
